Nazi BeliefsNazism was fascist political movement- and later became a form of government- that developed in Germany during the 1920's. Nazism did not gain wide support until the great depression, a world wide bussiness slump that began in 1929. People thought the nazis would save them from poverty and homelessness. (they were wrong). In 1919, Hitler joined a small rightwing group called the german workers party. the name soon changed to National socailists.

The nazis were very popular with the... nationalists, racists, farmere, lower middle class, and the rich people.
